Allie and Justin’s session at Dudgeon Lake Wildlife Management Area in Vinton felt like exactly what they described their relationship as — laid back, full of laughter, and totally down for anything. From tall grass bathed in sunset light to a quiet gravel path tucked away in the trees, their shoot was simple, romantic, and the perfect setting for their first-ever couples session.
These two have been together for almost eight years, having met in high school (when Allie was a sophomore and Justin was a senior). Though they knew of each other before, their story really began then — and has been full of concerts, sporting events, and spontaneous adventures ever since.

Their personalities are a perfect match — Justin’s the outgoing extrovert with a thrill for adventure, while Allie’s more introverted and thoughtful. Together, they bring out the best in each other. She’s caring, kind, and goes out of her way for others. He brings the energy, the fun, and a “let’s live life” vibe that clearly shows in the way they interact.
Even though they’d never had a professional session as a couple before, you’d never guess it. They leaned into the experience together — from sweet poses in the grass to plenty of real, candid moments. They even turned the session into a full date night!

Christopher and Hailee were the dream team behind the lens that night — creating a space where Allie and Justin could just be themselves and have fun while we captured it all. As Allie put it, “It was a great way to spend a beautiful Sunday evening… a lasting memory!” We couldn’t agree more.
