I am the owner of Eleanor Kathryn Photography and our sister company, Cumberland Weddings! In 2016, after turning away many couples because I didn’t have their wedding date available, I had the idea of offering associate photographers for the couples who want to book their wedding with Eleanor Kathryn Photography, but are unable to due to my full schedule. That’s when Cumberland Weddings was born. Because of the requirements I have set for my associate photographers, finding the right photographers to represent my studio wasn’t easy. They had to be people that I trusted 100% and I had to know that they would provide my clients with the best experience & wedding photography. Our team is full of amazing photographers, who share my passion for wedding photography. I am extremely fortunate to know this group of talented photographers both as colleagues & good friends, I’m so honored they have decided to join my team.
Our associate photographers are perfect for the couples that want the many advantages of working with my studio, but have a popular wedding date or a more limited budget to spend towards their wedding photography. My associate photographers’ styles are similar to what you’ve grown to love from EKP, they have years of experience and will provide consistent quality images for our clients. Eleanor Kathryn Photography will oversee all of the client care, communication, image editing & product fulfillment, which frees up the associate photographers to do what they love the most — shooting your beautiful weddings!

Where are you located?
Our photographers are all based out of Eastern Iowa, but we love to travel!
How would you describe your style?
Natural, Timeless and Fun. We will do some posed portraits, but what makes our hearts happy is being able to capture moments that reflect who you are by having the two of you interact as a couple.
Do you work with a second photographer?
Yes, we do! Two of our packages include a second photographer to capture candid moments and assist with lighting and posing.
When should we book our engagement session?
We recommend you book your engagement session at least six months before your wedding. Your engagement session will be about an hour long and you’re more than welcome to have two outfits. Engagement sessions are the best way for us to get to know each other before your big day, which is why they are complimentary.
When will we see our photos?
You will receive a link to your private online gallery two to three weeks after your wedding. You can view your images and order prints at your convenience over the next year.
This all sounds awesome, how do we book you?
Send us a message via the contact tab and introduce yourselves. After we chat and talk about your details, an $800 non-refundable retainer is required, along with a signed contract in order to reserve your date. Your remaining balance must be paid 30 days prior to your wedding. We accept cash, check and credit and are more than happy to accept payment plans.
